MISSION STATEMENT OF THE WILLIAMS SECULAR COMMUNITY
The Williams Secular Community will:
- Build an inclusive community of agnostics, atheists, and all skeptics to socialize and connect in a variety of ways;
- Create a safe, non-religious space for anyone to engage in fulfilling discussions of their personal lives, current events, religion, life philosophy, or anything else;
- Support those questioning their faith;
- Help demonstrate to student body, faculty, and staff that atheism or agnosticism, without organized religion, is a valid and positive life philosophy that affirms the value of human life;
- Provide organizational and financial support to students interested in holding secular events for the general Williams community.
